APA Format
APA format is used in research papers because it protects the writer from plagerism and copyright infringement. Citing a source means that you are giving the respectful to the owner or the finder of the information. A writer needs to cite a source because he/she can get into big trouble if they copy without citing a source. A writer if not summarizing a qoute but directly copying it they must also add the page number plus the authors name. A reference page is a cited list source that has all the information on where youy got your information. APA format is just one of the ways papers can protect you from plagerism.
Example: Pirate bay sells itself as "one of the most ressilient bittorent sites". (Pirate Bay)

Airplanes Lyrics
[Chorus Hayley Williams]
Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky
Are like shooting stars
I could really use a wish right now (wish right now) (wish right now)
Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky
Are like shooting stars
I could really use a wish right now (wish right now) (wish right now)
[Verse 1 B.o.B]
Yeah
I could use a dream or a genie or a wish
To go back to a place much simpler than this
Cause after all the partyin’ and smashin’ and crashin’
And all the glitz and the glam and the fashion
And all the pandemonium and all the madness
There comes a time where you fade to the blackness
And when you’re staring at that phone in your lap
And you hoping but them people never call you back
But that’s just how the story unfolds
You get another hand soon after you fold
And when your plans unravel
And they sayin’ what would you wish for
If you had one chance
So airplane airplane sorry I’m late
I’m on my way so don’t close that gate
If I don’t make that then I’ll switch my flight
And I’ll be right back at it by the end of the night
[Chorus Hayley Williams]
[Verse 2 B.o.B]
Somebody take me back to the days
http://www.elyricsworld.com/airplanes_lyrics_b.o.b..html
Before this was a job, before I got paid
Before it ever mattered what I had in my bank
Yeah back when I was tryin’ to get a tip at subway
And back when I was rappin’ for the hell of it
But now a days we rappin’ to stay relevant
I’m guessin that if we can make some wishes outta airplanes
Then maybe yo maybe I’ll go back to the days
Before the politics that we call the rap game
And back when ain’t nobody listened to my mix tape
And back before I tried to cover up my slang
But this is for the decatur, what’s up Bobby Ray
So can I get a wish to end the politics
And get back to the music that started this shit
So here I stand and then again I say
I’m hopin’ we can make some wishes outta airplanes?
Awesome Song

Haley Williams doing Hip/Hop???
There is a new song called Airplanes by B.O.B. featuring Haley Williams and Eminem. Haley's voice is awesome in this song and she really rocked this song. Props to Haley. Also David Guetta and Fergie got together and sung Gettin Over and it is an awesome techno song. I would totally dance in a club to it. Also my biggest crush sang Kissin You and Digusting (used to be by Ke$ha, also a good singer and beautiful artist)and if you don't know who that is.. It's Miranda Cosgrove (and no Jess... you don't look like her at all... not being mean or nice). I mean even if you are not a fan of her show... Her voice is beautiful. Also on another note I wish I could go on to the field trip with the 3.0 but my G.P.A. is just below that. It really sucks, but most likely I probably wouldn't have gone anyways... Oh Well... nothing I can do about it.

Value of Blogs in School
Blogs in the classroom can be beneficial in many ways due to their way to outlet students creativity and increase their writing skills. Blogs also give a way for students to cope with some problems they may have if they properly express it on their blog. Also blogs are a good way for students to express themselves. They are also good to improve computer skills in stuff like web designing and may get some students interested in those careers. Also I think that blogs can be a great way to record how much you changed over the last year or whatever... just like journals.

Prom/Barbeque
Well prom for me was a very special night as the place it took place at was high class. Also I got to dance with Angie, which made my day as she is a senior and that is a achievement for any sophomore. There was very mouthwatering chicken there (I hate chicken usually) and the mash potatoes was the bomb. I also enjoyed the BBQ until the basketball game when Alex put me down and ruined the rest of the day for me. I left and went home pissed off. So I missed the rest of the 45 minutes when they were doing the relay. But all in all I had a decent time at prom and the BBQ. I wish more people could of went to prom though.

Random Picture Fact of the Day
This was the B-29 Superfortress bomber plane that bombed Hiroshima on August 6, 1985. It ended World War 2 and the fight with Japan. It was an alternative to invading Japan directly. I personally do not agree with it but hey who can fix past mistakes, but we can still prevent them in the future.
Just a random fact that I'm putting up every day. Just it fits perfectly with my background.

Earthquake near Mexicali
There was a 7.2 earthquake that struck Mexicali and I was munching on some food and it felt like a butt massage. It didn't bug me at all. But the one last night woke me up and knocked my laptop off my bed. I couldn't fall back asleep and it really wasn't fun. I wasn't scared at all. Also when I was asleep I was dreaming of an earthquake and that's the one I felt last night. Later I had a creepy dream about three black things swarming on me and I felt another earthquake.

Found Poem on To Kill a Mockingbird
White people wouldn't have anything to do with her because she lived among pigs;
Negroes wouldn't have anything to with her because she was white.
She was white, and she tempted a Negro. She did something that in our society is unspeakable
But around here once you have a drop of negro blood, that makes you all black.
"I said come here, nigger, and bust up this chiffarobe for me, I gotta nickel for you"
She was white, and she tempted a Negro. She did something that in our society is unspeakable
Atticus says cheatin' a colored man is ten times worse than cheatin' a white man.
He announced in the schoolyard the day before that Scout Finch's daddy defended niggers.
Not only a Finch waitin' on tables but one in the courthouse lawing for niggers!
This time we aren't fighting for the Yankees, we're fighting our friends.

Found Poem on Lord of the Flies
No grownups,
But a sign came down from he world of grownups,
though at the same time there was no child awake to read it,
Sucks to the littleuns',
Fancy thinking the Beast was something you hunt and kill,
Kill the beast! Cut his throat! Spill his blood!
But there isn't a beast!

My Favorite Cartoon Character
My favorite cartoon character is Master Chief from Halo the game. The reason why I like him is that he is trying to save all of humanity on his own (without other SPARTANS) and he has no close friends. He is doing it for no reason to.

10 Second Sound Off
Yesterday I went to Mrs. Taylor's office to get a job so I can add money to my bank account so it can get matched by Mr. Litoff and I can have money for college. I had a dream last night that I was in a courtroom and I was Atticus and Scout was behind me and so was Jem and I was trying to win the case but it ended up failing.

10 Second Sound Off
When I was younger I wanted to be like Bill Gates due to the fact that he likes computers and he is very rich and successful. He is one of my biggest role models other than Riki Ellison and Steve Jobs. Today I am in a bad mood due to the fact that I didn't do my sophomore homework.

The phrase that annoys me the most is "someone says a joke about molestation and it gets me really pissed off and I also hate when someone calls me ugly. It hurts me a lot and gets me mad at someone". But I usually piss of a lot of people so it must be bad karma.

Dream House
My dream house would compromise of a big flat screen TV with every game console known to man. It would have a huge king size bed that would have a second TV, not as big in it with a whole bunch of love movies. I would also have a pit bull and a fish tank with sharks and other fish in it. I would have a whole CD library in the living room and I would have another room for my children that would be made to however they like it. For my wife, whomever may be lucky enough to know of the real me, If would get them a wardrobe just for them and I would put their favorite stuff in their room. I would have a secret doorway to a special room mine. That is some of just I want my dream house to look like.

What is Love
What is love
Some say it is pure
Others compare it to a dove
To some it is a cure
It warms our hearts
It fills your soul
It stings like a dart
It pays out much more than its toll
And it never grows old
It is eternal
It stays strong
It puts out any inferno
If sometimes goes wrong
Love not lust
Is a feeling a trust

Brick By Boring Bricks By Paramore
{Verse 1}
She lives in a fairy tale
Somewhere too far for us to find
Forgotten the taste and smell
Of a world that she's left behind
It's all about the exposure, the lens, I told her
The angles are all wrong now
She's ripping wings off of butterflies
{Pre-Chorus}
Keep your feet on the ground
When your head's in the clouds
{Chorus}
Well go get your shovel
And we'll dig a deep hole
To bury the castle, bury the castle
Go get your shovel
And we'll dig a deep hole
To bury the castle, bury the castle
Ba-da ba ba-da ba ba da
{Verse 2}
So one day, he found her crying
Coiled up on the dirty ground
Her prince finally came to save her
And the rest you can figure out
But it was a trick
And the clock struck twelve, well make sure
To build your house brick by boring brick
Or the wolf's gonna blow it down
{Pre-Chorus}
Keep your feet on the ground...
When your head's in the clouds...
{Chorus}
Well go get your shovel
And we'll dig a deep hole
To bury the castle, bury the castle
Go get your shovel
And we'll dig a deep hole
We'll bury the castle, bury the castle
{Bridge}
Well you built up a world of magic
Because your real life is tragic
Yeah you built up a world of magic...
If it's not real
You can't hold it in your hand
You can't feel it with your heart
And I won't believe it
But if it's true
You can see it with your eyes
Oh, even in the dark
And that's where I want to be, yeah!
{Chorus}
Go get your shovel
And we'll dig a deep hole
To bury the castle, bury the castle
Go get your shovel
And we'll dig a deep hole
To bury the castle, bury the castle
{Outro}
Ba-da ba ba-da ba ba da
Ba-da ba ba ba-da ba ba
[X3]
Ba-da ba ba-da ba ba da
Ba-da ba ba ba ba-ba ba ba

Stricken By Disturbed
AH! AH! AH! OW!
You walk on like a woman in suffering
Won't even bother now to tell me why
You come alone, letting all of us savor the moment
Leaving me broken another time
You come on like a bloodstained hurricane
Leave me alone, let me be this time
You carry on like a holy man pushing redemption
I don't want to mention, the reason I know
That I am stricken and can't let you go
When the heart is cold, there's no hope, and we know
That I am crippled by all that you've done
Into the abyss will I run
AH AH AH OW
You don't know what your power has done to me
I wanna know if I'll heal inside
I cant go on with a holocaust about to happen
Seeing you laughing another time
You'll never know how your face has haunted me
My very soul has to bleed this time
Another hole in the wall of my inner defenses
Leaving me breathless the reason I know
That I am stricken and cant let you go
When the heart is cold there's no hope and we know
That I am crippled by all that you've done
Into the abyss will I run
Into the abyss will I run!
Oooooh!!!!
You walk on like a woman in suffering
Wont even bother now to tell me why
You come alone, letting all of us savor the moment
Leaving me broken another time
You come on like a bloodstained hurricane
Leave me alone let me be this time
You carry on like a holy man pushing redemption
Don't wanna mention the reason I know
That I am stricken and cant let you go
When the heart is cold there's no hope and we know
That I am crippled by all that you've done
Into the abyss will i run
Into the abyss will i run!
I cant let you go!
Yes I am stricken and cant let you go!

I prefer the the rain more than sunshine because I am a natural Pisces and water is my element. I love walking in the rain because it feels real good and its very relaxing. I prefer the rain over the sunshine on some days, but too many days of rain gets old. I like rain a little less at San Pasqual Academy a liitle more.

Cliche Poem
Its raining cats and dogs,
while I'm typing my blog,
God is crying like a newborn baby,
while I am lazy
as sloth,
I feel like eating some broth,
cut from the whole cloth,
is a bit of myself,
umm, as i belch,
I love Welches
Jam.

Figurative Language Games
The best figurative language game I played tonight is Metaphor Battleship, because Battleship is one my all-time favorite game and it is creative. I won this game easily but than again I was playing on easy. If you want to play this game, go to this link: [http://www.quia.com/ba/42131.html?AP_rand=163810965]
The second best game I played was Fling the Teacher because it is challenging but fun in the end when I got to fling the teacher. My final score was 15 correct. If you want to play this game, go to this link:
The least favorite game I played was Drag and Drop Metaphors because it is very errorful when you try to put the metaphor in place. My final score was horrible because it messed me up. If you really want to play this game, go to this link:

Winter Vacation
My winter vacation was fantastic due to the fact that I was away from school. The first week I got $45 dollars total and I bought two pc games, one was Star Craft and the other one was Rome: Total War. I had a lot of fun playing them until Christmas Eve rolled up. Then I went on pass with my mentor to hang out at his parent’s house until Christmas morning. I got a speaker set, lots of candy, a sweater, and money. I then came back to SPA and got my Brett Favre jersey and Green Bay Packer pajama bottoms. I then got a $200 dollar gift card, which I used to buy a 250 GB hard drive and a DVD-RW drive. I also bought Sim City 4. That was an awesome Christmas break for me.

Old Blind Man
The old man on the hill,
Who cannot see,
Sits there every day,
And stares at me,
As I think to myself,
If he is blind,
How does he know I pass him by?
I begin to ponder
And as I say to him,
“You sit there and stare at me day by day,
Our world,
Who calls you blind?
But who are they,
And who am I,
Leaves the question, (or “to leave the question”)
Which one of us is truly blind?”

Thanksgiving Break
This Thanksgiving break I played my Xbox 360 for most of the time. I also went to see the movie "The Blind Side" and I watched a bootleg copy of New Moon. Then I spent time with my Legacy Corps mentor and spent the day at his house for Thanksgiving. The next day on Friday, I spent time with my other mentor, Shane Skelton, and we went to go see "2012". It was a very action-packed movie, compared to the sad movie, "The Blind Side".

Robert's Environmental Poem
If you can relate to my emphasis,
to my want for the world to voice,
the need to lower the need to consume,
an estimated billion gallons a fuel a day,
you may categorize me under a environmentalist,
because I fit the criteria,
what this rap needs to consist and focus is,
the need to examine and focus on the effect we significantly impact,
the environment,
and the need to create an alternative energy and construct a more healthier world.
